OLH Cru 2022

Our Legacy Harvested’s mission is to cultivate a diverse community of wine industry changemakers. Through fundraising events and the amazing support of our generous donors, our goal is to award internships for selected BIPOC individuals to come to the Willamette Valley and complete a four-month program with a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)-trained partner winery. Interns will advance their wine knowledge & skills, connect with industry pros, build community and experience the beauty and passion of this wonderful region.

Internships

August - November 2022

Our inaugural program will bring six selected BIPOC interns to the Willamette Valley for a 4-month paid internship to work fall harvest. Interns will get a fully immersive experience in all aspects of winemaking. Harvest is a demanding time for wineries so interns can expect a crash course in production, teamwork, & industry fellowship.

Support & Community

Our Legacy Harvested internships include housing, travel, and most transportation. Outside of the job, interns will have access to educational programming, social outings, and networking opportunities to help foster a safe and supportive experience.

The Academy

BIPOC internships are just the beginning. Our Legacy Harvested’s long-term goal is to build a non-profit winery and campus managed and led by BIPOC changemakers where education and vocation blend with community.
